Meet the next person that should be on YOUR TEAM
Hi, I’m Michelle Bracewell. My passion is helping service-based business owners elevate their online presence to reach better clients and grow their business!
Since 2000 I’ve built highly strategic websites for service oriented businesses in the United States. If you’re looking for more than a WordPress Web Designer, but a true Digital Marketing Strategy Partner – then contact me today for a 30 minute free consult and let’s see if we are a good fit to work together.
After years in sales, marketing, management and then running my own design studio for several years, I returned to school and received my webmaster certification. This allowed me to combine my love of design and marketing. It didn’t hurt that I was also a long time computer nerd too. My first computer was a double floppy! Yikes, dating myself here (just kidding, I was just a baby then!).
In 2000 Bracewell Web Works was launched in Colorado Springs, Colorado and now serves clients nationwide.
The web is an ever changing place and I believe it’s important to stay on top of the latest in coding, design, online marketing trends and especially the latest in SEO (search engine optimization). I invest invest a lot of time and money to stay educated in my field and make sure my clients get the best there is.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.”
~ Steve Jobs
In my spare time I love spending time with my two rescue dogs, gardening and creating unique art from recycled and found objects as well as mixed media on canvas in my studio. I’ve enjoyed living in beautiful Colorado Springs after moving here from Houston, Texas in 1997. You couldn’t blast me outta here! I get to see the majestic Pikes Peak every day.
What I Believe
- I believe in doing the best work possible given the limits of the scope of work and budget.
- I believe that your web presence should reflect you and your audience, not my personal style.
- I believe in deadlines. Mine and yours.
- I believe that a successful business relationship has many things in common with a healthy romance. First, the chemistry must be there. We have to be a good match with the spark of creativity. Second, there have to be reasonable boundaries and expectations. Thirdly, there must be mutual respect and value.
For 12 years I was a volunteer instructor at the Small Business Development Center and sat on their advisory board for 3.5 years. What a great organization! Over the years I’ve served on several other boards including the Old Colorado City Merchant Association, and The Southern Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce. These days I enjoy mentoring other women that are working hard to build their own web design business.
